The Saint Petersburg Special Economic Zone has summarized its participation in the 2026 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum once again confirmed its status as one of the most productive negotiating platforms for our special economic zone. Following SPIEF 2026, key agreements were reached, contracts with new investors were signed, and professional ties with colleagues from other regions were strengthened.
SPIEF 2026 kicks off: 9.4 billion rubles in investment
The forum opened with a solidification of serious investment intentions. The St. Petersburg SEZ signed agreements with six investor companies totaling 9.4 billion rubles. The new residents are:
- Pharmproekt JSC (2.3 billion rubles).
A new 16,000 square meter pharmaceutical facility. A full-cycle facility: from formulation development to generic production.
- Industrial Espionage Countermeasures Laboratory LLC (1 billion rubles).
A high-tech optical-electronic device complex.
- JSC Laser Systems (at least 1.5 billion rubles).
Our pioneer has been expanding its facilities since 2007 due to growing production volumes and new projects.
- LLC Engineering Expert Center (1.6 billion rubles).
One of the largest scientific and innovative complexes for inspecting maritime transport in Russia.
- LLC AktivTestGroup (1 billion rubles).
The S.G. Ershov Non-Destructive Testing Center. Prototyping, development, and small-scale production for the defense industry, aviation, and mechanical engineering.
Also, LLC LDC MIBS named after Sergey Berezin, with an investment of 2 billion rubles for the production of components for high-tech medical equipment, is considering the SEZ site for its project.
Agreement with PSB Bank: Infrastructure and Financing for Residents
An important outcome of the forum was the signing of a cooperation agreement between JSC SEZ Saint Petersburg and PSB Bank. The document aims to explore opportunities for attracting bank financing for the development of engineering, transport, and other infrastructure within the SEZ. As part of the partnership, the bank intends to develop specialized credit and service products for resident companies. The document was signed by Tamara Rondaleva, General Director of JSC SEZ Saint Petersburg, and Andrey Makarov, Manager of the St. Petersburg branch of PSB Bank.
Cooperation Agreement with ANO Obshchestvenny Kapital
The document establishes a partnership and the development of long-term cooperation aimed at popularizing and promoting the principles of the Business Public Capital Standard among partners, contractors, and residents.

Tamara shared the main results of the forum, discussed the projects and initiatives the management company is currently working on, and outlined the necessary measures to stimulate investment.
