Tamara Rondaleva, Director General of SEZ “Saint-Petersburg”, and Andrey Ivanov, Deputy Director General for Investor Relations, took part in a meeting of the specialized commission on investments of the Legislative Assembly of Saint-Petersburg.

The discussion was also attended by representatives of the authorities and business community, who discussed the results achieved and the prospects for further development of the investment climate in the city based on the results of the past economic forum.

Participation in SPIEF-2025 was a landmark event for the St. Petersburg Special Economic Zone. Within the framework of the forum, agreements were concluded with five companies for a total amount of over 23 billion rubles. Of particular importance are new partnership agreements with the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow” and Khalifa Economic Zones (Abu Dhabi, UAE), which open additional opportunities for our residents to sell their products and expand their production facilities.

Answering the question about the requirements to the volume of investments, Tamara Rondaleva, General Director of SEZ “Saint-Petersburg”, noted that with the legal minimum of 350 million rubles per 1 hectare, the actual investments of residents, taking into account the construction of production areas (an average of 100 thousand rubles per 1 square meter), purchase of equipment and hiring of qualified personnel reach about 1 billion rubles per 1 hectare.

Participation in the forum confirmed St. Petersburg's status as an attractive investment platform. We are confident that the agreements reached will make a significant contribution to the development of the city's economy, and new residents will be able to implement their projects as soon as possible.
