Today, representatives fr om a delegation from Republika Srpska visited the Special Economic Zone (SEZ), wh ere they toured the site and familiarized themselves with its infrastructure and ongoing projects.
A key highlight of the visit was a joint presentation delivered by the SEZ, the St. Petersburg Committee for Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade, the St. Petersburg State Public Institution "Directorate for Industrial Project Support," and JSC "Technopark of St. Petersburg."
Vladimir Balabanov, Deputy General Director for Construction at the Management Company of the St. Petersburg SEZ, briefed the colleagues from Republika Srpska on the site’s capabilities and the specific tax regime available to residents. He placed particular emphasis on the innovation center at the "Novoorlovskaya" site—commissioned in 2022—which currently houses one of the key residents, Gazpromneft-Industrial Innovations LLC.
The representatives from Republika Srpska expressed interest in the process for obtaining resident status within the special economic zone, as well as in the impact of sanctions on the industrial sector and how the industry is navigating these challenges.
We thank the delegation for their interest and for a constructive dialogue. We are confident that such meetings help strengthen international ties and open up new horizons for collaborative projects.
