Participants of the Innovations on the Neva educational project visited the Novoorlovskaya SEZ St. Petersburg

Today, within the framework of the educational project "Innovations on the Neva", students of Engineering and Technology School 777 and School of Economics and Law visited the site of SEZ "St. Petersburg" "Novoorlovskaya"

The meeting started with a welcoming speech of Tamara Rondaleva, the Director General of SEZ "Saint-Petersburg". During the meeting she shared her experience and inspired the pupils to find an interesting topic for a future project.

After that the pupils went on excursions to the SEZ residents:

- Employees of "Vital Development Corporation" gave a presentation about their activities and demonstrated the work of an analyzer for determining biochemical parameters of blood.

- At VERTEX, the pupils saw the production process of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, as well as familiarized themselves with automatic packaging systems and storage facilities.

- At the PANTES enterprise, the children were given a tour of the workshop where motherboards for electrical appliances are created and were told about safety measures when working with them.

- The history of the company ODK-Klimov has more than a hundred years. The children were introduced to the interactive museum of the company, where they learned about the development of engines for various types of transportation and other innovative projects.

- A visit to the Pharmasintez-Nord pharmaceutical company allowed the pupils to learn about the production of medicines to fight cancer.

Excursions to the enterprises not only allowed children to get acquainted with innovations and technologies, but also inspired them for future achievements in science, technology and engineering.
