New horizons for high technology and industrial construction
The Demo Day of Effective Regional Practices was held at the site of the Rudnevo Industrial Park of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone. It gathered more than 200 representatives of regional authorities, including those from new regions, industrial enterprises and development agencies, who presented solutions aimed at strengthening the industrial potential and increasing the flow of investments into the country's economy.
Vladimir Balabanov and Andrey Ivanov, representatives of the managing company of SEZ “St. Petersburg”, attended the event. During the discussions it became obvious that the capital of Russia is actively moving towards the creation of high-tech ready jobs, which opens up new opportunities for business development.
Moscow today demonstrates impressive results in the field of industrial construction: the annual commissioning of new industrial space is about 600 thousand m², and all these facilities already at the construction stage have 100% occupancy by potential tenants. This demonstrates the high demand for ready-made premises that are customized to meet the specific needs of companies. Understanding the needs of the business allows for efficient design of buildings, which significantly speeds up the process of their construction.
The standard project of an industrial building developed and implemented in Moscow has become a key tool in this strategy. Thanks to active involvement of developers and subsidized credit rates in the range of 5-7%, construction financing becomes affordable and attractive for investors. For every credit ruble, 55 rubles of investment is attracted - this approach creates a powerful financial incentive for the development of the industry.
The ideology of creating ready-made premises is aimed at accelerating business processes. The timeframe from the start of construction to commissioning is only 9 months for areas up to 100 thousand m². This significant reduction in time allows companies to enter the market and start their operations faster.
In addition, it is important to note that the new approach actively develops synergies between different production facilities. This allows to reduce costs without loss of quality, which is critical for successful operation of enterprises in a competitive market.
SEZ “St. Petersburg” is starting to implement the concept of scaling up ready-made space at its sites. The design of several such facilities has been launched for the Novoorlovskaya and Shushary sites.
As part of the event, the participants got acquainted with the key projects of the Rudnevo Industrial Park, they visited the leading production facilities of Nyukon Energy and VIP Camilla, as well as the Federal Center for Unmanned Aerial Systems and the Rudnevo practical training site of Moscow colleges.
