SEZ representatives visited the exhibits of the exhibition, familiarizing themselves with five national expositions, as well as products and investment opportunities of more than 50 participating countries.

In addition, as part of the business program of the exhibition, representatives of the company attended the panel session “Cross-sector partnership and innovations for advanced infrastructure projects in Uzbekistan” and other round tables.

Russia is one of the main foreign trade partners of Uzbekistan. By the end of 2024, the volume of mutual trade turnover between the two countries exceeded $11.6 billion.

Uzbekistan's economy is developing at a good pace: by the end of 2024, the country's GDP growth amounted to 6.6 bln.
GDP growth of the republic amounted to 6.5%.
According to Igor Kamynin, Deputy Trade Representative of Russia in Uzbekistan, industry accounts for 26% of the region's GDP structure.

“Investments in fixed capital of Uzbekistan are growing, Russia is the second most important investor of the republic with an indicator of $3.5 billion by the end of 2024. Cooperation between the countries is shifting from the formats of work with trade companies and representative offices, purchase of equipment to joint development of technologies and their implementation.
Creation of infrastructure for strengthening industrial cooperation and partnership development is coming to the forefront. There are 2 Russian technoparks, special economic zones and other industrial zones in Uzbekistan, new production sites are being prepared in Bukhara and other cities”.

Special Economic Zone “St. Petersburg” is ready to cooperate with investors from friendly countries, including the development of joint infrastructure projects.
