The first agreements have been reached with colleagues from China
A strategic cooperation agreement was signed in Beijing between the St. Petersburg Special Economic Zone and the St. Petersburg Information and Business Center (IDC) in Beijing.
The document lays the foundation for a long-term partnership, the main purpose of which is to attract investments.
As part of the joint work, the parties agreed to exchange economic and legal information, hold seminars and conferences, and assist businesses in implementing joint projects.
The main objective of the IDC is to demonstrate the industrial potential of St. Petersburg and strengthen business ties between the city and China.
A special economic zone is an infrastructure site and a service company. We are focused on attracting investments and creating comfortable working conditions for companies in St. Petersburg. We are ready for fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation with new partners.,
- said Tamara Rondaleva, General Director of the SEZ.
Such an alliance opens up new prospects for the Russian-Chinese partnership and strengthens the SEZ's position as one of the most attractive areas for investment.
It is fundamentally important for us that the St. Petersburg business has direct and effective communication channels with Chinese partners. The signed agreements are a concrete tool that will help companies in both countries find growth points and implement joint projects.,
– said Kirill Lesnikov, Head of the St. Petersburg Information Business Center in Beijing.
In continuation of the dialogue that had begun, the SEZ Management Company also held the first negotiations with one of the largest Chinese multinational corporations on possible formats for entering the Russian market.
We have offered the company all possible ways to start working in Russia.: from the supply of products to the search for a Russian partner in order to create a joint venture. They spoke in detail about the steps that an investor needs to take to develop the Russian market.,
- Tamara Rondaleva commented on the results of the business meeting.
We thank our colleagues from the IDC for their willingness to cooperate, open dialogue and organization of a meeting with representatives of the Chinese corporation.
