SEZ Management Company visited the Scientific Research Park in Beijing
As part of a business trip to the People's Republic of China, the management of the SEZ Management Company visited Zhongguancun Life Science Park, the Zhongguancun Biology Research Park. It houses more than 600 innovative pharmaceutical enterprises, as well as world-renowned research institutes, including the National Institute of Biological Sciences, the Chinese Institute of Brain Research, the National Protein Research Center and the National Biochip Engineering Center in Beijing.
The park staff introduced the heads of the SEZ to the history of the park's creation and the existing infrastructure, as well as the industry specifics of the site. In addition, the production of collagen–based cosmetic products by Bonneheure, one of the residents of Zhongguancun Park, was demonstrated. The company's field of activity is as close as possible to the industry specialization of the St. Petersburg SEZ site. These are pharmaceuticals, the manufacture of cosmetic products. SEZ employees shared the successes of SEZ residents working in the industry and contacts for possible cooperation with one of the SEZ residents.
